3D Female Nervous System

This 3D Nervous System model includes Zygote's highly detailed Central and Peripheral Nervous System 3D models digitized from physical models and grouped for selection and visualization of individual structures. The 3D brain model includes cerebral landmark sulci and gyri as well as internal anatomy. All of the features of the Brain model are grouped to enable easy isolation of detailed internal anatomy. With nerves extending to fingertips and toes, as well as throughout the torso, this 3D model is another superior Zygote product.

Many are not aware of the beautiful features now included when you license these models. The Nervous System has been vastly improved to include Cerebral Meninges and Dura of the Spinal Cord, improved detail and synchronization of Cranial Nerves through the proper foramina of the New Skull to proper correlated anatomy, dorsal and ventral roots for all Spinal Nerves, innervation of thoracic and visceral Organs. Other anatomy surrounding the nervous system such as the Circulatory System, Skull and Skeleton have also been greatly upgraded.

Nervous System Upgrades

The Nervous System has been refined and has undergone a major upgrade. The entire model has been rebuilt to better enable deformation during animation. Closer integration of the Nervous System with other systems of the body and higher levels of nerve detail and branching throughout the body are new features of this version. Abbreviations within the naming convention have been replaced with expanded nerve names for expedient selection. An increased number of named nerves allows easy identification and focusing for more convenience working with the models.

New nerves added include:

  • Suprascapular Nerve
  • Medial Antebrachial Cutaneous Nerve
  • Medial Brahcial Cutaneous Nerve
  • Axillary Nerve
  • Posterior Brachial Cutaneous Nerve
  • Lateral Antebrachial Cutaneous Nerve
  • Palmar Branch of Ulnar Nerve
  • Common and Proper Palmar Digital Branches of the Median Nerve
  • Superficial Branch of the Radial Nerve
  • Dorsal Digital Branches of the Radial Nerve
  • Iliohypogastric Nerve

3D Science's [Zygote's] services and models have proven themselves time and time again. When the producers for television show "The Doctors" approached me to develop a graphics solution to their daily dose of medical information, I immediately knew that they needed the Zygote Human Anatomy Collection. The collection has been a critical piece of the toolkit ever since. I've been using their models and services since 2004 and have not found anything that comes close. The accuracy and high level of detail saved us hundreds of hours in potential clean-up and preparation. Above all, the efficient mesh density makes their models easy to work with, manipulate and render on a tight budget and deadline.
