3D Female Muscular System
The Zygote 3D Female Muscular System Model is one of our flagship products. It includes each individual muscle of the axial and appendicular skeleton, including deep muscles of the back and spine with proper origin and insertion points. Animators using this product can easily create animations and images showing any variety of muscle configurations such as: entire muscle system, agonist and antagonist muscle combinations or each muscle flexing individually.
The 3D Female Muscle System is a superior product created through years of development working with scanned human forms, photographic and illustrative anatomical atlases. Texture maps were derived from photographs of human cadaver muscle tissues, enabling the user to create photo-real images and animations. The system includes all major muscles of the axial and appendicular skeleton, both superficial and deep. The 3D Muscle System has been geometrically optimized to minimize render times while maximizing shape and surface integrity. Each muscle is volumetric and individually grouped for quick selection.
The skeletal system is tightly integrated with muscular system as shown in many of the above images. These two systems complement each other very well. The skeletal system is sold separately.

Optional Texture maps for the 3D Female Muscular System model are available. The various regions of the muscular system are divided up into sixteen 2048 x 2048 color maps.

For The Complete Human Body, Medi-Mation required a highly detailed and clean set of models. These formed the basis of the illustrations for the book, which explores every aspect of the body in incredible detail. Some views are 80 percent life-size. The clear, sensible labeling of assets and clean geometry allowed us to divide the model and add even more detail without any problems, even with all anatomy layers loaded in at the same time.
Zygote's model sets saved us a huge amount of time and effort, making complex and high profile projects such as The Complete Human Body feasible in terms of both production and budget.
